Aragón is a good region for campers who like open landscapes, mountain areas, and quieter travel routes. In the Pyrenees, many campsites sit close to rivers and small towns, making it easy to plan short hikes, visit viewpoints, or spend a relaxed afternoon by the water. Valleys around Ainsa, Jaca, and Benasque offer plenty of options for tents and RVs, with both simple and more equipped sites depending on your style of travel.
Further south, the scenery widens out. Around Huesca, Zaragoza, and Teruel, the landscape shifts to plateaus, forests, and dry hillsides. Rural campsites and small camper areas are common near natural parks like Ordesa, Sierra de Guara, and the Maestrazgo region. These areas are well suited for walking, canyoning, or just enjoying quieter roads and small villages. Aragón works well for campers who prefer a mix of mountains, open countryside, and low-key outdoor days without heavy crowds.
